Dave Patmore Hill, is an experienced athlete, and taking on a 70.3 is a fairly regular event now for him. However the World Championships always offer a brilliant race atmosphere to bring on some great performances. The World Championships were held in the Nelson Mandela’s Bay South Africa. A beautiful part of the world, filled with history and culture. Dave swam a solid swim in 31mins 47secs, a fair time considering it isn’t his favourite discipline. On the bike Dave was comfortably under the 3hours mark, finishing the bike leg in 2hour 51min. With a strong controlled run in 1hour 37mins, he competed the 70.3 in 5hours and 6minute. A solid race and an experience he won’t forget. Dave races in the 50-54 category and came 123rd out of 270. It was a race that requires qualifications to enter and renowned for high end age group athletes.

Dave lives down south, but uses E-plans, Dave has regular communication with Gary every week on his training, and the requirement for his racing. It’s the perfect combination for taking control of your own training but having someone to guide and support you when needed.
